On November 19, 2024, tens of thousands gathered in Wellington, New Zealand, for the Hikoi mo te Tiriti (March for the Treaty), standing in solidarity against the proposed Treaty Principles Bill. This powerful demonstration highlighted the collective voice and strength of the people, emphasizing the importance of protecting the foundational values of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
